  I think Scanners 2 felt like it was made by a fan. You know, pretty true to the universe Cronenberg created for his film. Just don't watch it expecting the same level of quality, etc.
  
  It was also directed by the guy that made SCREAMERS; which was a pretty good, low-budget Phil Dick translation.

    And the SCREAMERS poster is seen several times in the Civic TV offices in VIDEODROME!

      lol! I think *that* Screamers is actually an Italian film called Island Of The Fishmen (or something like that). Pretty Lovecraftian film; although, it's not entirely great.
